Orlando, July 14— On June 12, 2016, an incomprehensible tragedy of terrorism occurred in the Orlando community when a gunman killed 49 people at Pulse Nightclub in downtown Orlando. In an instant, Central Florida was forced to deal with the aftermath of the largest loss of life in our country from an attack in the US since 9/11.
As the nation and city deal with the aftermath of this tragedy, Orlando is coming together in a way unlike any other community. Orlando Harley-Davidson has announced their commitment to honor the victims and raise money for the survivors with their Hogs for Hope and Tolerance ride and concert taking place Sunday, July 24.
The police escorted ride, led by 49 flag bearers representing the victims, will travel from the Citrus Bowl through downtown Orlando, past Pulse Nightclub, and to the Orlando Harley-Davidson Historic Factory Dealership as they raise their goal of $20,000 for OneOrlando, for the victims and their families.
After the ride, Orlando Harley-Davidson is hosting a day of live music from Three Forks Road, a burlesque show featuring Kissa Von Addams and Friends, silent auction, food and drinks. There will also be a special ceremony with Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and special guest speakers to honor the victims, their families and first responders.
You can join the ride and concert by purchasing tickets at any of the Orland Harley-Davidson locations for $25 per person between now and July 23.
